LIONS' LAIR

We believe that there are many talented and committed business owners as well as those with a good business idea who could achieve so much more if they were to receive the help they really need when they actually need it. In essence this epitomises what CanHave  is really all about.

Lions' Lair is an annual competition held at all of our Centres and is open to anyone who operates a business in the area that has been trading for no more than 24 months and has five or less full-time employees. It is also open to anyone who has a business idea they would like to take forward.

The selected finalists are required to make a short presentation in front of a panel of experienced judges (Lions) and an audience of business owners, they are then questioned by both the panel and audience. Be assured there is no desire to humiliate any contestant, the questioning is simply designed to learn as much about you and your business/idea as possible.

The winner receives 100 hours of support and mentoring from the Lions over the subsequent 12 month period, a prize valued in excess of £4,000.00. All other finalists recieve a lower level of support.
